Field Trip BRRRRR!

This morning was a good morning. I got the kids up and took everyone to school and then went with Jacks class to Northern Fruit Company on a field trip. It is so amazing to me how interested the kids were in the packing shed. They learned all sorts of cool things about what happens once the trucks bring the apples to the warehouse. They were all so well behaved too. Jack was so excited that I was with him. The bus didn't arrive at the school to leave until 9:15 but he insisted that I stay when I dropped him off at 8:25, I think in fear that I wouldn't make it. I wouldn't have missed this day for anything. Seeing how excited he was just to have me go on a field trip just melted my heart. When we got back to the school I took him back to the classroom and got my stuff to leave and I told him goodbye and to have a great day, he was so cute because as I left I turned around for one more look and he crossed his arms on his chest (love) and then pointed at me. Ahhh my precious boy.
Tonight Philip and I are going in different directions. He is taking Hanna to Pumpkin Carving Night in her classroom. Father Daughter bonding time. I am taking Cole to his Fun Night at his school and then Jack and I, well I guess we'll have more bonding time. I love that with my kids. I l love having one on one time with each of them and that doesn't happen very often. Cole has gotten to the age where that's just not fun anymore more but Jack and Hanna are still young enough that they like it. We just have a hard time finding the time.

Blogging

I never thought I would ever be a blogger but then a friend of mine Jen sent me a link to her Blog and I thought WOW what a great way to remember the little things in lifes crazy journey.Add Video Crazy is a word that desciribes my journey to a tee. With a family of 5 I to have lots of things to write about and great pictures that need captions and explaining. What a great way to remember the little things in life that seem like little things but are truly large.

I live in a household of 5 people, my husband Philip, my oldest son Cole, my second son Jack our daughter Hanna and myself. Hanna you will read about often, she seems to rule things around here. I'm not sure where she got that ability, (maybe I should sit her down and try to figure it out) because I sure would love to possess just some of that ability.
